Prior to learning about naturopathic medicine, Vincenza was biking and hiking the world as a trip planner and guide for a luxury travel company. This unique experience established her belief that leading an active lifestyle, choosing fresh, nutritious whole foods and having a sense of adventure sets the foundation for optimal mental, emotional and physical well-being.
Her passion for healthy living and interest in proactive healthcare led her to pursue studies in naturopathic medicine. She enrolled in the full-time, 4-year professional program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and is licensed by CONO.
As a naturopath, Dr. Vincenza takes time to listen and learn about her patient’s health concerns. Her areas of interest include:
Women’s health (including fertility concerns, menstrual irregularities, menopause)
Mental health and wellness (including addictions, stress management, bereavement support)
Musculo-skeletal concerns (including sports medicine, pain management)
Cardiovascular health (blood pressure and cholesterol management)
Environmental medicine (including allergies, detox regimens and heavy metal testing)
She works with her patients to choose appropriate natural therapies such as nutrition, vitamin/mineral therapy, acupuncture, botanical medicine, lifestyle counseling, and hydrotherapy to treat the root cause of illness. Her goal is to educate and empower patients to be active participants in healthcare in order to live full, healthy and happy lives.
